Here is a brief checklist:
- Nationally register and pay the registration fee
- Get both Lead Mentors through background screening
- Get parents and team members signed up on the FTC Oregon email list
- Recruit team members and organize them, secure space for meetings.
- Order needed kits/parts/field elements.
- Pick a path: Join a FTC Oregon League and compete starting in the fall or go Non-League and wait until January to compete
- Get ready to sign up for FTC Oregon events starting on Oct 1
